5 reasons why camping is awesome

Camping in India
Camping can seem absurd to those who have never experienced it. Why would you want to leave your warm, cosy home to sleep on the ground under a canvas?
The solution is straightforward. Spending a night under the stars, listening to the sounds of nature while snuggled up in your sleeping bag, is truly beautiful. With children having less opportunities than ever before to spend time outdoors engaging with nature, camping is a fantastic way to bring some adventure into their lives. Here are five reasons why we think camping is a great idea.

1. You will feel as though you are a part of nature.

Sleeping outside puts you in touch with nature, and being in touch with it is the best way to learn to love and enjoy it. Humans have evolved to actively use our bodies and communicate with our surroundings, and I believe that being outside is where we belong. Of course, in today's world, many of us are unable to spend any of our time outdoors. Camping is a perfect way to reconnect with our heritage and spend time living in the same way as our forefathers did, connecting with nature. Eating outdoors, listening to the birds, and looking up at the stars in the sky will all help you reconnect with nature.

2. Camping is good for your health.

Camping is beneficial in a variety of ways. Sleeping away from artificial lights, in addition to the obvious benefits of exercise, fresh air, and improved vitamin D intake, will help you reset your sleep pattern, even after only one night. It allows you to unwind, refresh, and boost your mood while also reinforcing family and friendship ties. Spending time outside with children provides us with so much more than any of these wonderful benefits. It reminds us of how the world appears through the eyes of a child, and it brings back memories of spending time outdoors as children.

3. You'll collaborate as a team.

Camping is all about working together as a group. Putting up tents, preparing meals, and playing ball games are all more enjoyable when done as a group. Camping is a fun experience that brings people of all ages together while also encouraging problem-solving abilities. You, your boot full of gear, and your initiative are all you have once you arrive at camp. You'll figure it out if you forget the tent pegs or the tin opener. You'd be shocked by how much wisdom and good ideas are slumbering in our heads, waiting for the right opportunity. Even if you have a couple of mishaps, at the very least you'll be adding to next year's campfire tales!

4. You are able to disconnect from the stresses of everyday life.

Camping allows you to disconnect from the stresses of daily life and spend quality time with your family without the normal distractions. Forget about work, education, cleaning, and laundry; camping is all about a slower, more enjoyable pace of life. Walking, biking, gathering wood, cooking over an open fire, playing in lakes, or even lying side by side reading a good book and listening to the rain on the canvas are all enjoyable activities. In today's busy world, activities like these offer unique opportunities to interact not only with nature, but also with the wonderful friends and family you have.

5. It allows for exploration and creative play.

Children enjoy spending time in natural environments. Nature provides everything you need to keep you busy, and it promotes exploration and creative play. I recall all of my childhood camping trips, including toasting marshmallows as someone played the guitar and peeking out of the gap between the ground and the fly sheet while curled up in my sleeping bag. For the simple reason that it was, it all felt like such an adventure. Playing in nature helps us to explore and learn new things, put ourselves to the test, and take chances – all of which are essential for our growth and well-being.
