My First Trip to Manali

This was my first visit to Manali. I was a little skeptical about going to Manali in December considering how cold it gets during winters, but I must say, it was the best decision ever! The first thing I noticed about Manali was that every corner was so picturesque with perfect snow-capped mountains visible from every corner. Manali made me feel like I was a part of a painting.
I have never experienced real snow before and this trip was a real blessing as I got a chance to experience the raw cold winters of the Himalayas. Here the temperature went to as low as -9 degrees. It was on my birthday that I got to make a snowman in Solang valley along with with experience other snow adventures, such a fun experience!
I also visited Hidimba temple, Manu temple, Jogini falls. Solang valley, Gulaba pass and explored the local cafes of old Manali.
The best part was warming up to delicious local food, Maggi and momos on the streets and hot soups. I also got a chance to interact with the locals and explore the local households in the old town, and I must say, they are the most hardworking and genuine people. Exploring the old town and sightseeing was so much fun. This was such a perfect vacay, one that I will cherish for the rest of my life!
